Product information "eimü Dry-Guard Dip"
eimü Dry-Guard is an external teat sealer to protect udder health during the critical early and late stages of the dry period. By coating the teats and sealing the teat canal from the outside, the penetration of udder pathogens is prevented. eimü Dry-Dip can be used alone or in combination with any type of dry stall. The breathable polymer protective film forms a hermetic barrier for up to 7 days.
On the one hand, application is recommended directly for dry setting, so that additional protection is provided until the natural keratin plug is formed. On the other hand, eimü Dry-Dip can be used before calving, when milk production has resumed and teat closure is no longer guaranteed. In this case, two applications should be made 14 to 10 and 7 to 5 days before calving. The application is made with a disposable dip cup (eimü Dry-Dip Cups).
1 liter of eimü Dry-Dip is sufficient for about 100 applications.
